The amount of strange things you can find on eBay are endless.
From knocked out teeth of celebrities (which are almost removed instantly) to a rim of a tire that was once on Bob Marley’s Mercedes, the oddities on the auction site are endless.
Which brings me to one of the more recent unique listings, somebody attempting to sell the air that Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel ‘signed’ last weekend.
As you’ll likely recall, Manziel, after picking up a first down got into some type of verbal spat with a Rice defender, which lead to Manziel making an autograph gesture in the air with his hand.
Hoping to capitalize, some entrepreneur decided he or she would attempt to sell the air:
Sadly, like so many strange auctions before it, it too went to the wayside once eBay noticed it.
The seller tried everything they could to keep the auction alive, insisting that they were selling the canister, not the air from Manziel, but the world’s largest auction site wasn’t having any of it.
What a pity. That would have went strikingly well next to my Manziel air money which I snagged off Craigslist last week.
