Stefan Struve not considering retirement

UFC heavyweight Stefan Struve learned a few weeks ago that he was suffering from an enlarged heart and leaking aorta valve, which has led to UFC president Dana White and many others believing that his time in the octagon has come to an end.

It would be easy to count Struve out because of these serious injuries, but the 6-foot-11 heavyweight is not ready to call it quits.

Struve went on to the MMA Underground to let mixed martial arts fans know how he was thinking and feelings. To him, there is no way he will retire.

He wrote:

I DON’T consider retirement as an option, it’s possible 2 come back from this & I’m gonna go for that & make it work! Just so you know ;)

It won’t be an easy road back to the octagon, but the UFC seems ready to stick by Struve.

He’s got all the support you could ask for and the right attitude that you need in order to succeed. We wish him all the best.
