If you’ve never been in a student section at a college football (or even basketball) game, you haven’t lived. It’s one of the coolest atmospheres you’ll ever encounter – though – you may come home with a few souvenirs, likely a black eye or a couple bruises on your knees.

You may also come home with something else if you and a random lady friend have too much to drink, but that’s a whole different kind of problem.

Souvenirs aside, Michigan State head basketball coach Tom Izzo doesn’t have the luxury of sitting with the student’s during his basketball games, so what better way to experience it than to sit with them at a football game?

Unfortunately for Izzo, he couldn’t have picked a worse game. Michigan State is currently leading South Florida at halftime, though, only by a single point.

Hopefully for the Spartans, Izzo can work some of his magic and get the football team motivated in the second half.

Pretty cool to see a coach do something like that. As he said, Spartan for life. Indeed.
