Nobody likes a flopper.
And nobody likes the punter.
So if I was University of Miami’s booter Pat O’Donnell, I might be trying to make some new friends.
The Hurricanes punter decided to pull out his best NBA player impersonation this afternoon during a game against the Florida Gators, doing a complete 360 spin on the most tiny of hits on his punt attempt.
Now granted, I wasn’t the one with my leg stretched out nor was I the one who was fearful of some 200lb cornerback locked onto my foot like a heat destroying missile, but really? A full pirouette type move?
Hell – in fairness, I’m not even sure O’Donnell took the worst of that collision considering his massive foot came down right into the crotch of the Florida defender, who promptly began stumbling towards the ground once he took the cleat to the man region.
I guess if the whole football thing doesn’t work out though, he’ll have a job waiting at the Miami Ballerina Academy (which is one of the highest regards dance schools in the nation, mind you. Actually, I have no idea – sounded fantastic though).
