The Detroit Lions have listed defensive end Ziggy Ansah as probable for Sunday’s game agains the Minnesota Vikings. The Lions will be thrilled to have the rookie and #5 draft pick available for a season opener against a divisional foe.

Defensive end Ziggy Ansah practiced Friday and is probable for the Detroit Lions’ game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Ansah, the No. 5 pick in this year’s draft, has been recovering from a concussion. He did not travel for Detroit’s preseason finale at Buffalo last week.
“Whatever happened, happened,” Ansah said, via ESPN. “I’m just glad I’m back on the field and being able to practice.”
There were reports that it was a concussion holding Ansah out, he confirmed that.
“We know I had a concussion,” Ansah said. “I just put that behind me, and I’m happy I’m back.”
“I missed the game,” Ansah told Lions beat reporter Tim Twentyman. “I missed what I love to do.”
Lions said that safety Louis Delmas and defensive end Jason Jones also are probable for the game against the Vikings Sunday.
