DeMarcus Ware starts game with interception (GIF)

It is safe to say that Dallas Cowboys star defensive end DeMarcus Ware likes the team’s new 4-3 defense. On the New York Giants opening drive of their Sunday Night match up, Ware was able to correctly read the screen pass that the Giants had opened up with and dropped back right in to Eli Manning’s passing lane for an easy pick to generate a quick turnover.

Dallas took over deep inside of Giants territory, but they failed to take advantage of the opportunity and had to settle for a short field goal.

Regardless of how many points the Cowboys got on the board, it was a perfect start for the team in their season-opener at home.

The Cowboys will hope that their new and improved defense will be able to find more of the same success throughout tonight’s NFC East match up.
