Indiana Pacers' Paul George dresses up as Indianapolis Colts mascot in awkward moment

Prior to Sunday’s win over the Oakland Raiders, the Indianapolis Colts did one of their ‘who’s in Air Blue’ contests.

It’s a strange name for a contest considering, well, you figure it out.

Anyway, Air Blue of course is the Colts’ mascot and as a gimmick to get fans riled up, the Colts will often put somebody of entertainment value into the replica blowup Air Blue costume which is exactly what they did yesterday.

Unofficially, it didn’t go so well.

Inside the suit was Indiana Pacers swingman Paul George, but apparently there aren’t a lot of Colt fans who enjoy the Pacers or were simply tired of all the pre-game festivities because George didn’t really get a ton of love considering it was supposed to be a ‘surprise’.

The awkward moment became even more cringe worthy when nobody really knew what to do after the suit was pulled off of George and he was essentially left in the end zone to fend for himself.

That’s probably the last time Paul George is going to dress up in some blowup mascot costume, I’m guessing.
