Oklahoma City Thunder star forward Kevin Durant said on Tuesday that he expects teammate Russell Westbrook will be healthy by the start of the 2013-14 season.

Westbrook tore his meniscus in his right knee back in the 2013 Playoffs in April. The Thunder managed to get to the 2nd round without their star point guard, but fell to the Memphis Grizzlies in six games. Westbrook had surgery in late April and with a realistic timeline he could certainly be back by the start of training camp in October.

The Thunder will need Westbrook to stay healthy this season—he averaged 23.2 points and 7.4 assists for Oklahoma City last season.
