Rafael Nadal takes back lead in U.S. Open

This U.S. Open final is setting up to be one for the ages. In a fantastic, back and forth match, Nadal has surged ahead from Novak Djokovic 2 sets to 1. This match has seen numerous double digit rallies and too many fist pumps to even count.

Nadal won the first set rather convincingly 6 games to 2, only to see Djokovic storm back and take the second set 6 games to 3. With two of the best return men in the game today, every rally seems punctuated by numerous shots that have left us breathless and amazed. At this rate, SportsCenter might have to do a full top 10 based solely on unbelievable shots just from this match alone.

Nadal looks to have slightly more momentum currently as he is building off of the third set, 6-4 victory. If I was predicting I would say that this is going to go to 5 sets and it will turn into a match of wills. I believe that Nadal has more stamina then Djokovic, but no one can question either players heart.

One thing is certain, if you enjoy top level tennis, then you have to keep an eye on this match as it progresses. It promises to be epic.
