UFC featherweight Matt Grice is in a fight for his life after a car crash on Sunday night. Grice was on duty in his other job as an Oklahoma City police officer, when he was hit from behind while sitting at a red light.
Grice was rushed to the hospital and had to undergo emergency brain surgery, according to reports.
The good news is that Grice is reportedly reacting to like, which is a sign that his brain is active, via News9.com.
Grice has previously drawn praise from UFC president Dana White for his exciting fighting style, which led to him winning a Fight of the Night bonus when he faced off against Dennis Bermudez in February of this year.
He was schedule to take on Jeremy Larsen at UFC 166 in October, but he has a bigger fight ahead of him and the career inside of the octagon will temporarily be onhold.
