Being a member of boy band One Direction has it’s perks, but it’s not always about getting attention from teeny bopper girls. Sometimes, you can be called on to participate in celebrity events with people that aren’t necessarily fans of your annoying pop music.
That’s what happened to Louis Tomlinson, who I would have never known was a music “star”, when he was asked to be a part of a charity soccer match for Stiliyan Petrov, who is a former player that was forced to hang up his cleats because of a battle with leukemia.
Tomlinson was dribbling the ball when Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor came in hard and delivered the tackle. Tomlinson went down in obvious pain, which was apparently so severe that he needed to make a trip off the pitch to toss his cookies.
Yes, it is just as entertaining as it sounds. There is something really special about watching a One Direction star go down from a big tackle. Getting humbled can serve everyone well.
