Spain is hosting Chile in a international friendly as the rest of UEFA and CONEMBOL teams play World Cup qualifying games. This game lacks the added tension of a trip to Brazil being on the line but it should be entertaining nevertheless, it is always fun to watch Spain play.
“We either take Chile seriously or we will suffer, because they compete to the highest level and are always looking to attack” said Spanish manager Vincente Del Bosque in a press conference. “They have always been a very physical side when we’ve played them. We are going to use the occasion to allow everyone to participate and use the game as preparation for the matches with Belarus and Georgia next month.”
