Cleveland Browns outside linebacker, and 2013 first round draft pick, Barkevious Mingo bruised his lung in the preseason and has been held out of practice ever since. ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that Mingo has been medically cleared for contact and is expected to practice this week.
Source says Browns LB Barkevious Mingo medically cleared for contact. Should practice and make NFL debut after bruised lung preseason

Mingo could be making his NFL debut this Sunday against their divisional foe, the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns defense had the league’s best performance against the run last week holding the Miami Dolphins running backs to 20 yards. The Browns were less strong against the pass giving up 255 yards.
The Browns defense will face a tougher challenge stopping the run against Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce. The Ravens backs didn’t do particularly well from a statistical point in the season opener. In all fairness they were trying to play catch up to Peyton Manning’s seven touchdown performance and spent a lot of time airing the ball out, essentially abandoning the run.
