Donation fund set up for injured UFC fighter Matt Grice

UFC featherweight Matt Grice is coming off of a “Fight of the Night” loss to Dennis Bermudez at UFC 157 earlier this year, but he is now involved in a much bigger fight for his life. Grice was involved in a multi-car accident earlier this week where he suffered head injuries that landed him in critical condition and he was forced to undergo emergency brain surgery.

On top of being a mixed martial arts fighter, Grice is an Oklahoma police office who was sitting in his car when he was rear-ended.

As Grice is involved in the battle for his life, a donation fund has been set up to help out the medical costs. Donations are being accepted athopemob.org.

Grice has been pulled from his scheduled fight next month at UFC 166 as he attempts to recover from the injuries suffered in the accident.

We hope that he is able to make a full recovery for himself and the sake of his wife and two daughters. Maybe one day we can see Grice set foot in the octagon once again.
