When the Tennessee Titans travel to Reliant Stadium to take on the Houston Texans in Week Two, they will have a special performance for the fans. Those who are under the age of 18 probably won’t have any idea who the crazy man performing is, but it will be none other than Rob Van Winkle a.k.a. “Vanilla Ice.”

I guess the good news is that he will not be butchering the National Anthem.

Vanilla Ice is originally from South Dallas, but apparently the Cowboys didn’t want him dropping some old school rhymes on the field at Jerry World, instead, the Texans fans will be forced to listen to him during halftime of the game — which sounds like the perfect time to get up and go to the bathroom or grab another beer or three.

Vanilla Ice’s performance will be part of the team’s “Liberty White Out” day. All fans are encouraged to wear white to the game.

This likely means the Texans will be wearing all-white uniforms for the game, but it’s too bad they don’t have a white helmet to complete the look.

As an added bonus to the fans that show up in their seats early, the team will hang their 2012 AFC South Championship banner in the rafters at 11:30 a.m.
