Breaking: Denver Broncos Von Miller has open warrant in California
By Jason Marcum
The Denver Broncos have to be extremely frustrated with All-Pro linebacker Von Miller, who’s currently suspended for failing a drug test administered by the NFL, and now it appears he could be in trouble with the law for another speeding ticker and subsequent failure to appear in court:
"Denver Broncos star linebacker Von Miller has an open warrant for his arrest in California.Susan Schroeder, spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to The Denver Post that Miller has a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic ticket issued last year.It is unclear what effect this will have if Miller travels to California when the team plays either the Raiders or Chargers, as Schroeder said the warrant pertains to the entire state."
This news comes after reports came out today that Miller was cited just last week for speeding and driving with a suspended license. Broncos head coach John Fox just came out and said the team is “not happy about” Miller’s latest off-field transgressions, and this certainly won’t help his cause.
