Although Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White will not likely be himself, he’s still going to take the field for Week Two action, this according to D. Orlando Ledbetter:

"@Roddywhitetv returned to practice today and was limited. He’s listed as questionable for the game. Coach Smith said he would play."

There was some question as to White’s availability for Week Two, but it appears he’ll be out there. How effective he’ll be however, is another topic all together.

It’s possible Atlanta could be using him more of a decoy – not to say he won’t be involved in their game plan, but they may limit his touches and try to use him more as a threat which would allow Julio Jones, Tony Gonzalez and Harry Douglas more one on one coverage.

Dealing with a high ankle sprain, White himself said he likely won’t be the player we all know and love for quite some time so it’s just time to grin and bear it until he can return to full health.
