Tempers boiled over on Thursday night when the New York Jets and New England Patriots met on the field. The Jets had a meltdown that included three Geno Smith interceptions at the end of the game, but the biggest moment came when the two teams were involved in a scuffle.

Punches were thrown and Jets offensive linemen D’Brickashaw Ferguson and Willie Colon were ejected for their role in the fight.

After the game, the men spoke out about what went down and cited frustration for their actions.

“I don’t really remember the details of what happened; I just know that at the end of the day I was ejected,” said Ferguson. “It was just a lot of frustration today and we didn’t really have the result we were looking for.”

Colon responded by saying that he hopes he doesn’t get suspended for actions.

“I hope I don’t get suspended. I hope it is not the case,” Colon said. “I lost my temper. I lost my cool out there and we can’t have it. It hurts your team and I know better, so it is my fault.”

If frustration is already building up, the two guys better buckle up and prepare for a wild ride this season. The Jets have shown no signs of being able to excel this season and it’s going to be a long year in Newark.
