The autograph scandal involving Texas A&M star quarterback Johnny Manziel has been a distant memory as we prepare for the game this weekend against Alabama, but now a new discovery from ESPN’s Darren Rovell has brought the scandal back to light.
Rovell posted a photo that shows Manziel signing autographs for South Florida autograph broker Drew Tieman.
The photo was reportedly taken at an apartment that Teiman occupied in Fort Lauderdale.
Here is the photo that was obtained by Darren Rovell:
More from the report:
ESPN attempted to reach Tieman through his company and was told he was not immediately available for comment. Texas A&M has not made Manziel available for interviews this week prior to the No. 6 Aggies’ game against top-ranked Alabama in College Station. Neither Manziel’s attorney, Jim Darnell, nor a Texas A&M official returned calls seeking comment.
Manziel was suspended for the first half of the team’s season-opener and the NCAA considered the matter closed.
However, this photo could reignite the conversation.
This is not the time for distractions as Texas A&M prepares for their big game, but Johnny Football is once again in the headlines for all of the wrong reasons.
