Does Samsung have a stronghold on the smartphone market?

The smartphone market is one that has two giants at the top of the mountain. Those giants would be Apple and Samsung, as each company tries to show consumers why their phone is the best. Apple is known for having great build quality and they have an aesthetic look to them that includes great software.

However Samsung takes a somewhat different approach, with them focusing on the features of their devices and how user-friendly they are to the consumers.

Another thing that Samsung does well is that they have no fear in taking risks with their phones.  Who could have imagined that taking notes on five-inch screen would be something that consumers would want and it would also function very well as a phone.

This is not to say that Apple makes horrible devices, but it just seems like every new phone they show off to the public looks the same. The one thing that does change with their devices is that their camera and image features keeps on evolving. The one thing that Apple could do is make phones with a larger screen.

Once Samsung releases a new device, there is always new features that they add to make that experience more enjoyable for consumers. The Galaxy line of phones that is released just about every year continues to sell well and this is a trend that will not stop any time soon.

Samsung knows how to make a device that people will enjoy using and it will be very interesting in the next several years if they can keep on reinventing the wheel and maintain their perch at the top of the smartphone mountain.

The one thing I don’t want on a phone is a bigger screen. The iPhone is the perfect size to me. Who wants to hold a 5″ screen up next to their head?
