You know when you were about seven and you went into that really fancy store with your Mother who constantly yelled at you ‘DON’T TOUCH ANYTHING’?
That’s pretty much how coaches treat football players when it comes to their quarterback during practice.
Always wearing a different color jersey to differentiate them from everybody else, all that’s missing is a big multi-colored LED Las Vegas strip style sign reading ‘don’t touch me’.
And while it didn’t happen in practice, apparently one of Casey Pachall’s TCU teammates didn’t get the memo – DON’T HIT THE BROKEN QUARTERBACK.
As Pachall stood on the sidelines during last night’s loss to Texas Tech, an exuberant teammate rushing to get onto the field ran right into the broken elbow of Pachall, who was none too pleased, understandably.
Pachall, who is out for about two months wasn’t even supposed to travel with the team to play Tech, though, convinced the coaching staff that he should come along to help the team with the quarterbacks.
That’ll probably be the last time he travels needlessly, or TCU will invest in a bubble.
