The No. 1-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide got off to a slow start as Texas A&M Aggies star Johnny Manziel drove the team down the field for two straight scoring drives and an early 14-0 lead, but Crimson Tide quarterback A.J. McCarron stepped up and led his team to a six-play, 75 yard scoring drive of his own.
Alabama was methodical as they marched down the field with a beautiful throw from McCarron to cap off the drive.
After being burnt by Mike Evans for the first two drives, Alabama turned to a big receiver of their own to hit Kevin Norwood on the back shoulder throw for a 22-yard score.
We finally saw some signs of life from Alabama as McCarron led the team down the field, so now it will be up to the defense to finally step up and put a stop to Manziel’s hot start.
