The Texas A&M Aggies got off to a hot start against the SEC rival Alabama Crimson Tide, but it has been all downhill since midway through the first quarter. Alabama has scored 35-straight points to take the three touchdown lead, with the latest score coming off of a Johnny Manziel interception.

After a poor first drive to start the second half, Alabama was able to pick off Manziel and watch defensive back Vinnie Sunseri return the ball 73 yards for the score.

The Alabama defense perfectly set up the blocks for Sunseri, who had to dodge Johnny Manziel on the return, before running through the final Aggies and crossing the endzone to give the Crimson Tide a 35-14 lead.

It was Manziel’s second interception of the day, with his first coming in the endzone in the first half.

It’s not exactly how the Aggies wanted to perform in front of their home crowd at College Station, but Alabama just appears to be too much to handle. Maybe, just maybe, Manziel and company weren’t ready for the bright lights.
