One of the greatest traditions of Saturday mornings in the fall is laying on the couch or bed waiting for Lee Corso to make his pick on ESPN’s College Gameday show. Every week Corso picks his winner for the game they’ve attended in dramatic fashion. Usually it involves putting on the mascots head in front of the home team’s crowd. If he picks the visiting team he is met with a chorus of boos and if he picks the home team he is cheered.
This Saturday we have what at the moment looks like the marquee matchup of the College Football season. In 2012, Johnny Manziel cemented his Heisman Trophy campaign by leading the Texas A&M Aggies into Tuscaloosa to upset the Alabama Crimson Tide. That ended up being their only loss of the season before winning the BCS National Championship. This year the Crimson Tide are heading to College Station looking for a little revenge, even if they won’t admit it.
