One of the greatest traditions of Saturday mornings in the fall is laying on the couch or bed waiting for Lee Corso to make his pick on ESPN’s College Gameday show. Every week Corso picks his winner for the game they’ve attended in dramatic fashion. Usually it involves putting on the mascots head in front of the home team’s crowd. If he picks the visiting team he is met with a chorus of boos and if he picks the home team he is cheered.

This Saturday we have what at the moment looks like the marquee matchup of the College Football season. In 2012, Johnny Manziel cemented his Heisman Trophy campaign by leading the Texas A&M Aggies into Tuscaloosa to upset the Alabama Crimson Tide. That ended up being their only loss of the season before winning the BCS National Championship. This year the Crimson Tide are heading to College Station looking for a little revenge, even if they won’t admit it.

So far this season ever team that Corso has picked as lost. He needs to pick a winner. The line opened up at Alabama by -7.5, since than it has dropped to -9 in most books, fortunately Corso doesn’t need to factor that in just pick a winner straight up. Let’s see if he can get it right this week.

See who Lee Corso picked #1 Alabama or #6 Texas A&M:
