Texas A&M Aggies star quarterback and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel is working his magic in College Station against No. 1-ranked Alabama for the second straight season. The Aggies jumped out to an early 14-point lead over the Crimson Tide, but Alabama bounced back to even up the game in the second quarter.
After Alabama answered the call, Manziel was looking to pull off some magic and did just that with a wild scramble that forced multiple Alabama defenders to miss.
Manziel was dead to rights, but he was able to pull away from the pressure before launching a prayer downfield. Luckily for Manziel and company, wide receiver Derel Walker was able to come up big and pull down the ball for an 18-yard gain and first down.
Here is a video of the wild scramble that led to a first down:
No matter what your thoughts are about Manziel off the field, it is hard to deny that he can ball out on the field and always come up big. This was just the latest example of his incredible vision and ability to keep his eyes downfield.
Unfortunately for the Aggies, Manziel threw an interception in the endzone to finish off the drive.
