Anderson Varejao cleared to play

The Cleveland Cavaliers will be excited to bring back Anderson Varejao. While not a star player, he is a valuable asset to the team. Anderson had a rough 2012-13 season. He had a leg injury as well as blood clots. Yeah, it wasn’t fun.

Varejao’s injury concerns are well documented. He has played a “healthy season” since the 2009-10 campaign when he participated in 76 games. He’s only had three “healthy seasons” in his nine-year career in which he played in at least 76 games, twice hitting the 81-game mark. Other than that, he’s missed 245 games in the other six seasons of his career with various injuries.

Yeah. He along with Andrew Bynum would make a great combo if they can stay on the court together. As a frustrated Sixers fan, I can only hope that the Cavaliers make it work. I’m lying. I’d be pissed if Bynum played better than ever. Anyway, the Cavs are putting their eggs in historically injured big men baskets. I hope they know what they’re doing.
