As was reported earlier, Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice suffered a hip injury during the fourth quarter of Baltimore’s 14-6 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Before leaving the game, Rice had accumulated a mere 36 yards on 13 carries, statistics that evidently didn’t sit well with fantasy owners on Twitter.

After people took the injured running back to task for not playing better, Rice responded with this:

"I was a fan of fantasy football until today so many spiteful and hateful words I still love you all God Bless great win today #Ravens — Ray Rice (@RayRice27) September 15, 2013"

Obviously, Rice is in the wrong here. I mean, how dare he not play well when the imaginary team I control with Cheetos-stained fingers is counting on him! What disrespect! I am totally going to bench him next week as punishment, and I hope that decision cuts him deep to his soul. Get with the program, Ray; fantasy is serious business.
