Reggie Bush had a huge game in Week One during his Detroit Lions debut, but the fans and team were holding their collective breath early in the game against the Arizona Cardinals after Bush went down with an apparent leg injury.
Bush took a shoulder pad from Cardinals defensive back Tony Jefferson directly to the knee and he immediately went down grabbing his knee in pain.
He obviously tweaked his knee and it didn’t look good.
The good news is that Bush was able to hobble off the field under his own power. After making it to the sideline, Bush showed some obvious frustration by banging on the garbage can as the doctors looked on.
We should expect an injury about at the half.
Bush looked like a perfect fit in the Lions during Week One, so Detroit would be unhappy to see him miss an extended period of time.
If he is unable to return to the field, Jocque Bell will get more touches in the backfield.
