Seattle Seahawks fans were out in full effect for the team’s Sunday Night Football match up against the NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers. During the game, the fans were looking to break a Guiness World Record for the loudest crowd noise and they were successful following an interception that was thrown by 49ers signal-caller Colin Kaepernick.
The crowd erupted and made their presence felt as they made their way in to the record books.
After the game, Joe Tafoya, who appeared in a Super Bowl with the team, tweeted out a photo of the certificate the organization received for breaking the world record.

CenturyLink Field has always been one of the toughest places to play and the fans are always rowdy, but Sunday night’s game set the standard for home fans around the league.
If the 12th Man wasn’t already proud of how they show up for home games, they have a world record to hang their hats on.
Congratulations to the Seahawks fan base.
