Louisville Cardinals quarterback Teddy Bridgewater had a so-so day against the Kentucky Wildcats this weekend, completing just 16/28 passes for 250 yards for one touchdown and no picks against a defense that was statistically one of the worst against the pass last year, and hasn’t done great so far this year either.

But while Bridgewater’s Heisman stock may have taken a hit, his likelihood of being the No. 1 overall pick in next May’s NFL Draft continued to improve, and not because of anything he did.
