The New York Giants worked out free agent linebacker Leroy Hill and Jonathan Goff today. The Cincinnati Bengals kicked the tires on Hill last week. Free agent safety Kerry Rhodes worked out for the Giants today.

Of the three, Rhodes would offer the most help, as the Giants’; secondary has been decimated, which has been one of the biggest culprits in allowing 77 points to their opponents through just two games.

The Giants are in need of help in a lot of areas as they sit at 0-2, and quarterback Eli Manning knows that his team is facing a must-win game in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers:

"“In this situation, you’ve got to have a little sense of urgency,” Manning said. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. If you make it a must-win, sometimes that’s what you need to be put in those situations. It is a big game. We’re 0-2 right now. We’re looking for our first win. Guys just have to keep their heads up and look at the good things and look at where we’ve got to make improvements.”"
