If you’re a former all-pro athlete on the wrong side of 30 and currently out of a job, it must be a prerequisite to suggest a struggling team sign you, especially if that said team plays a different sport than you did during your career.

It’s something that former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens has been suggesting for well, since his retirement. In addition to trying to get back into the NFL, Owens has lobbied for NBA teams to bring him in and now it appears former NBA MVP candidate Tracy McGrady is taking a page out of his book.

T-Mac, who recently retired from the NBA and is likely to re-sign in China, where he played a portion of his 2012 season recently joked that the Jacksonville Jaguars need to sign him to play quarterback (or receiver, he’s not picky).

Per T-Mac’s Twitter:

"Jacksonville @jaguars need to bring me on in for a tryout at QB or receiver!"

McGrady, a Florida native, is known to quietly root for the Jags.
