New manager David Moyes gets his first action in the Champions league at the helm of Manchester United. He had been there once before with Everton but you could say that this is his first action in Europe’s biggest tournament.

“I am really looking forward to the Champions League,” Moyes said, via ESPN FC. “I have been there with Everton but we didn’t quite make the group stages. This is something different. I’m now managing a club which is used to getting close to the final stages and I will try and do that again.”

Still Leverkusen’s manager Sami Hyppia, who is making his managerial debut in the Champions League, says the pressure is on Manchester United.

“They are at home, they have bigger experience in the Champions League and the pressure is on them,” Hyppia said.”We are more relaxed but we must make sure we do not not show them too much respect. David Moyes is an experienced manager though. Everyone should give him more time to get things running. I just hope it doesn’t happen tomorrow.”
