You may not remember the name, but you’ll certainly remember Adam Lefkoe’s Seinfeld sportscast a few weeks back. Well, he’s at it again, but this time dipping into his musical bag, busting out some of the most famed and memorable rap lyrics to compliment his sports broadcast on WHAS11.

While it opens relatively slow, sans the mention of Ice’s Cube ‘Today was a good day’, it quickly begins to ramp up.

My personal favorite moment in the piece is when Lefkoe is talking about the Louisville Cardinals’ NCAA poll ranking and decides to, out of nowhere, drop a Ruff Ryders ‘stop, drop, shut them down open up shop’ reference. The only thing that would have made it better was to growl in his best DMX voice or a ‘get at me dawg’.

The reference to Skee Lo’s ‘I wish’ was also pretty solid, though, relatively unnoticed given how quickly he moved on from it.

Imagine it took quite some time to come up with this, but the end result was well worth it. Bravo, sir.
