The Wyoming Cowboys don’t get a ton of national television time, but that’s going to change this weekend when they take on Air Force.

Also changing will be their wardrobe as the Cowboys will move away from their traditional color scheme and go with a grey on grey look, complete with what looks to be a camouflage theme on both the shoulder and leg stripe areas.

I’m assuming it’s camo, mostly because a handful of teams, including Virgina Tech and North Carolina will be paying tribute to the Armed Forces with Military Day Appreciation uniforms in the near future.

Most fans seem to be embracing the look, though, it’s relatively minimal considering some of the crazy concoctions we’ve seen some school’s wear.

It’s a bit difficult to see if there are any changes to the helmet, though, it appears to be the same helmet Wyoming often wears (just not white version). It’s possible that the logo, as they’ve done in previous years, will also be camouflaged.

New look or not, very cool to see so many schools paying tribute to the Armed Forces.
