On Saturday, September 28th live from the Manchester Arena in the United Kingdom we’ll see two fighters of the WBO’s top ranked fighters.
David Haye who currently sits third in the WBO ranks will face number five Tyson Fury. This should help determine who will get a championship bout against reigning champion Wladimir Klitschko in the future.
David ‘Hayemaker’ Haye is an orthodox fighter who packs a lot of power in every punch he throws. His current record sits at 26-2, 24 of his victories coming by the way of knock out, also his losses. In his last fight, he took on Dereck Chisora in London and knocked him out in the fifth round.
He’s aiming to get his second shot at Klitschko, who he lost too back in 2011 in their first encounter. Klitschko picked up an Unanimous Decision victory.
The number five ranked Fury is currently 21-0 with 15 of those wins coming by the way of knock out is looking for stop Haye in hopes of facing Wladimir for the strap.
Five of his last six fights have come by the way of knock out somewhere around the fifth round. His latest win was on April 20th at Madison Square Garden where he knocked out Steve Cunningham in the seventh round to get him this fight against Haye.
Something else that is really interesting is Fury has a kickboxing match in Romania already scheduled a month after his upcoming fight according to Daily Mail UK.
This should be an exciting fight and a fight that shouldn’t last that long.
