When you’re all but guaranteed a playoff spot with weeks remaining in the regular season, I guess you’re allowed to have some fun in the dugout.

That’s exactly what the St. Louis Cardinals were doing during their 11-4 win over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night.

Wainwright, who is scheduled to take the mound this evening was greeted by infielder David Freese in the dugout, which lead to Freese giving Wainwright a hug. Apparently, that ‘froze’ the Cardinals pitcher (get it, because his name is Freese?) which left teammate Shane Robinson the task of breaking Wainwright out of the block of ice, though, Adam helped shatter the invincible ice with a little Jersey Shore styled dancing in the process.

You think they’re loose or anything?

I’ve seen a lot of interesting (and funny) dugout celebrations before, but this one might ranks towards the top.

The Cardinals currently hold a one game lead in the National League Central and a 5.5 game in a would be final playoff spot.
