Man…DeAndre Liggins has turned himself in to face the charges against him including throwing an Xbox at and beating his ex girl friend. From TMZ:

"Liggins allegedly ran into the bedroom he shared with his GF in Oklahoma City  … then grabbed her by the hair, pulling her out of the bed.  Then, for  bad measure, he allegedly punched her 11 to 12 times and then hurled an Xbox and  a box fan at her head — striking her.  He then allegedly held her at  bay."

Welp, when the charges first surfaced, his team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, cut ties and released him. These are serious charges and one has to wonder if Liggins will be able to make a comeback in the league. Other NBA players that survived their off the court issues were at least starters. Liggins is not and may never be.

Still, it’s also alleged that this happened in front of their two year old son. C’mon. In all, there’s seven charges against him and, even if only a few are true, he’s in trouble. On a personal note, if that were one of my three sisters being hurt like that, he’d certainly had better turn himself in. He’d be safer in jail.

But, that’s just me.
