Missouri will wear matte black helmet with chrome tiger (video)

It seems as if it’s become a daily occurrence to announce some type of new uniform design in college football.

Actually, it probably seems that way because that’s exactly what’s going on.

Today is no different as the University of Missouri has released images of their new black matte helmets which will feature a chrome tiger logo.

And yes, they’re just as cool as they sound.

The below video shows the construction of the helmet (at least from the installation of the logo standpoint) which is a bit more complicated than one would think. I can’t even put that damn screen protector on my phone right. There’s absolutely no way I could put that logo on the helmet. It would end up looking like some horrific version of Daffy Duck instead of a tiger by the time I was finished.

The Tigers will be wearing their new lids this Saturday when they travel to Bloomington to take on the Indiana Hoosiers.
