Dallas Cowboys franchise player and defensive end Anthony Spencer is being called a game-time decision for this weeks match up against the St. Louis Rams.

Spencer had a minor knee operation in late July that kept him out off of training camp for the most part, he also missed the season opener agains the New York Giants. Last week Spencer made his season debut against the Kansas City Chiefs in a close loss. In total, he played 38 snaps in the game.

He said his knee felt good last week, so what is the setback this week is unclear.

“We went in just trying to play on third downs, but the better I felt the more I wanted to do,” Spencer said, via ESPN, “so we did a little bit extra.”

At minimum you’d think we’d see the same level of play we saw last week from him. For his status to be up in the air he must have suffered some kind of setback this week.
