The Ohio State Buckeyes have a fairly easy match up against Florida A&M University this week. Unfortunately they’re without quarterback Braxton Miller who is out nursing an injury and resting for for their Big Ten opener against Wisconsin next week. That has quarterback Kenny Guiton taking over.
Guiton has done a fairly decent job so far in the game, he has completed 11 of 14 passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns to give Ohio State an big lead early on in the game. The one blemish on his stat line so far is an interception.
It came on their first possesion, They had marched about 67 yards down the field and were three yards shy of the end zone. Guiton threw into the end zone on a third and goal but it was picked off by Floida A&M player Patrick Aiken.
Aiken should’ve gone down in the end zone and Florida A&M would’ve had the ball at the 20 yard line, instead he decided to run it out. He tripped on his way out and ultimately fumbled the football giving it back to Ohio State on the three yard line, where they originally were with a new set of downs to work with. Ohio State running back Jordan Hall, who forced the fumble, ran it in for a touchdown on the next play.
