Los Angeles Dodgers’ Brian Wilson responds to Senator John McCain’s ‘spoiled brats’ comment

Had the Los Angeles Dodgers known the amount of controversy they would create by jumping into the Chase Field pool after winning the National League West division, they probably wouldn’t have done it.

After being asked not to celebrate on the field by the Diamondbacks, members of the Dodgers ran out to the right field pool and jumped in – a celebration that irked many, including United States Senator and Arizona Diamondbacks fan John McCain, who called the Dodgers ‘spoiled brats’ – among a handful of other choice names.

That didn’t sit well with Dodgers eccentric set-up man and former San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson, who posted the following message to McCain on his Twitter account:

Senator McComplain knows a thing or two about coming in second and watching someone take a plunge in the pool (I mean poll) #POoLITICS

I’m not sure what’s better here – the fact that Wilson called him Senator McComplain or that he referred to politics as ‘poolitics’.

Only Brian Wilson, only Brian Wilson.

Although McCain had his second wife buy him an interest in the D-Backs I find his behavior appalling. McCain is acting like an old bitter sore loser. Exactly the same as he been acting since the American people soundly rejected him and his narrow mind for the presidency twice.
