Lower level schools can make a lot of money by playing their more talented counterparts, something that Florida International University likely cashed in on when they scheduled the talented Louisville Cardinals earlier this year.
And while they probably didn’t expect to beat the Cardinals, they were hoping they’d be able to keep the score respectable and use it as a good learning experience, not to mention a solid money maker.
Well, I’m not sure how much experience they received, sans a butt whopping as they’re currently down 51-0 and the beating is so bad, both coaches have agreed that the clock will not stop after they asked the referees to continually roll a running clock for the remainder of the game:
Both coaches have agreed so there will be a running clock for the rest of the Louisville vs FIU game.
@UofLFootball leads 51-0
It’s another blunder of a game for new coach Ron Turner, after the school fired the relatively successful Mario Cristobal.
Rough day for Turner and the Panthers, to say the least.
