UConn Huskies currently leads 15th ranked Michigan in 3rd quarter

The University of Connecticut Huskies are giving Michigan all they can handle and then some on Saturday night. The Huskies came ready to play ball and took a lead of 14-7 into halftime. Early in the third quarter Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner coughed up the ball and the UConn defense scooped it up and returned it for a touchdown.

The Wolverines are 3-0 on the season so far. They have had two blowouts and a nice win over 14th ranked Notre Dame. The bigger story though, would be how bad UConn has been on the season.

UConn is currently 0-2 on the season and lost to the Maryland Terrapins 32-21 last week. That is not too bad. What is bad is the opening week loss that they had to Towson University of the FCS by a score of 33-18. Not too long ago UConn was in the FCS also, but they made the jump to the FBS which means that they get more scholarship players and we get to make fun of them if they lose to FCS teams.

All of that mocking would be taken back if they pulled the biggest upset of their season against the Wolverines. That might be what coach Paul Pasqualoni told his guys at halftime of the game to fire them up.

Now Michigan is the one that is playing the second half to not be mocked.
