Updated BCS title odds

The popular online sportsbook,, has once again updated their BCS title game odds.

In what should come as no surprise, the Alabama Crimson Tide remain with the favorite with 2/1 odds to win the title. The Tide already own a road win over then sixth-ranked Texas A&M. The Tide beat up on Colorado State 31-6 Saturday. They’ll face the undefeated Mississippi Rebels Saturday.

The Oregon Ducks have the next best odds at 9/2. The Ducks had a bye this week after destroying the Tennessee Volunteers 59-14. Oregon will next host California on Saturday at 10:30 pm. Fellow Pac-12 power Stanford is tied for the fourth best odds to win the title at 12-1. The Cardinal had an impressive, dominating win over the Arizona State Sun Devils 42-28 on Saturday. Three garbage touchdowns from the Sun Devils made the score look much closer than it actually was.

The Ohio State Buckeyes, who have been without quarterback Braxton Miller over the last two games, have 6/1 odds. The Buckeyes will get their toughest test of the season thus far Saturday when they host the Wisconsin Badgers.

Like Stanford, the Florida State Seminoles have 12/1 odds to win the title. They haven’t been tested and probably won’t be until October 19 when they travel to Clemson to take on the Tigers, who have 14/1 odds to win the title. Florida State is at Boston College Saturday while Clemson hosts Wake Forest.
