As we crawl closer and closer to the premiere of American Horror Story: Coven, we are slowly finding out more and more about the details of the story. In the newest trailer for Coven we get our first look at real footage from the show.
In the trailer, we see Zoe, played by Taissa Farmiga, as she is floored by the realization that she is a witch. She is quickly rushed off to Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies, an academy specifically designed for young woman with a penchant for witchcraft.
We learn that Fiona (Jessica Lange), the Supreme of the Coven, has come back into town after a long absence. After a number of witches start to fall under nefarious circumstances, she returns to ensure the safety of her coven.
She uses her subtle skill of intimidation to teach her students a valuable lesson.
Idiots, the only thing you have to be afraid of is me.” She says as she sends them flying into the wall.
She employs the use of tough love to teach her students how to survive in this war that has broken out on their kind; even if it includes dousing them with gasoline and dragging them through the woods. You know…the usual.
I simply can’t wait for American Horror Story: Coven to begin. Show creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have never let us down before, and there is absolutely no reason that they’ll start now.
