BC coach Steve Addazio says this is the best FSU team he's seen

Boston College Eagles head coach Steve Addazio is very familiar with the Florida State Seminoles.

Addazio joined current Ohio State Buckeyes’ coach Urban Meyer at Florida in 2005. He was the offensive line and tight ends coach for two years, the offensive line coach and assistant head coach for two years and the offensive coordinator for two years. When Meyer left Florida after the 2010 season, Addazio went to Temple as the Owls’ head coach for two years and became the Eagles coach this season.

“I actually know those guys, I’ve actually spent a lot of time around them and they are really talented players,” Addazio told Rich Thompson of the Boston Herald. “In my early years at Florida they were really good on defense and I notice that is coming back again to where it is pretty dominant.

Addazio will see his old friends again when his Eagles host the Seminoles Saturday.

“I’ve seen defenses like this when maybe the offense wasn’t quite right. I think this is the most talented whole package I’ve seen,” Addazio added.

The Seminoles are 3-0 and have outscored their opponents 157-26 (of course they’ve played Pittsburgh, Nevada and Bethune Cookman).

Kickoff between the Eagles and Seminoles is at 3:30 pm EST and the game is on ABC.
