The green Bay Packers are currently on their bye-week, and it couldn’t have come at a better time, as several of their key players would likely be unable to play this week if there was a game.

On the Packers’ first offensive possession during Sunday’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, tight end Jermichael Finley was injured after taking a big hit on his neck, and it was later revealed he suffered a concussion.

The team hasn’t given an update on his status yet, but Dave Siebert of Bleacher Report did a great analysis of his injury, and the noted physician ultimately believes Finley will be fine.

Jermichael did take the time to make sure his fans knew he was thankful for their support:

Finley has 11 catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns already this season. He had six receptions for 65 yards in a Week 2 win over the Washington Redskins, including a 27-yard touchdown reception.
