Ah, award season. Everyone is angry about something. Or at least it seems that way. There’s rarely a hands-down, clear award winner, and even when a selection should be unanimous based on the on-field production, it pretty much never is actually unanimous.

We’ll take a look at who should win the award, and who the voters will select. Because we all know how these things work.

    Goldschmidt is the best in the league!

      Goldschmidt would be my second place vote. I should have thrown him in there along with Kershaw as being in the running. And not that I agree with this, but since they won’t be in the playoffs he won’t receive the love that he deserves from the voters.

      Personally, I’d still go with McCutchen due to position/defense. But Goldschmidt has been the second best position player in the N.L. this year.
