After posting 13 stolen bases in 12 games, Cincinnati speedster has been caught stealing by the New York Mets’ Juan Centeno with Daisuke Matsuzaka pitching.

Hamilton, whose 3.1 seconds from first to second is absurd and barely humanly possible, can usually  steal when everybody in the stadium knows he’s going to steal, but he was thrown out by Centeno in what we can assume was a play that took place faster than the human eye can travel.

Hamilton’s last caught stealing was in the minor leagues on August 28th.
